The training and exams for these two certifications are free and relatively easy. It seems Oracle is promoting these to build an ecosystem around its products. Nevertheless, the technologies covered are cutting-edge and universally applicable. Database professionals might consider studying these topics and earning the certifications, as it is quite cost-effective.
